There is a peaceful feeling when two voices sing in harmony with one another and when that music comes from the heart. You might say the mountains in Wyoming called out to Anne & Pete with their folk music and stories and the open landscapes allowed the space for the original songwriting you hear on their four albums released since 2004 and most recently, Coming Home. No one can deny it was music that brought them together as teenagers in New England, they were raised surrounded by it and their love for singing has created an everlasting bond. They married, moved West and discovered folk, bluegrass and traditional music all in one amazing year, the rest has been an inspiring musical journey. With guitar and old-time banjo in hand, they have toured from coast to coast, been invited to perform at magical festivals and in theaters, really anywhere they can experience a deeper connection with the audience. Their voices soared the day they took a blue ribbon finish in the “Great American Duet Sing Off” on A Prairie Home Companion. Their album releases included Coming Home, Will You Walk With Me (2005), Winter on the Great Divide (2007) and Think of This River (2004).

“One of the sweetest, most soulful and hauntingly beautiful duets in the business” – Bluegrass Now Magazine
“Their harmonies are warm, tight and soulful; and their performances simple, poignant and unforgettable.” – Nashville Public Radio
“There’s a purity and honesty to Anne’s singing that pulls you into every song. Add in Pete’s tasteful, melodic touch on the clawhammer banjo and those sweetly-locked harmonies that snuggle right up next to each other, and it’s pure duet magic.” – Brian Eyster, Planet Bluegrass
“There are no highlights on the Coming Home album — it’s all exceptional, like a Jackson, Wyoming, high prairie, where they live. Anne Sibley has songwriting instincts that amaze and inspire. The song “Coming Home” seems to reach back and bring up memories from ancestors, and “Someone to Save Me” is now on my top-ten desert island list of songs.” – Chris Stuart, Sing Out Magazine
“Anne & Pete Sibley have been consistently one of the clear favorites of our festival fans since their first appearance on our lineup. True musicians with wonderful stage presence, their vocal talent will just blow you away.” – Paul Jarvis, Talent Manager, Big Horn Mountain Festival
